A rare treasure from post-war Paris, this authentic bleu de travail jacket was once part of the RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) uniform — worn by metro and bus workers who kept the city moving through the 1950s. Crafted from deep indigo-dyed cotton moleskin, it carries the perfect balance of durability and elegance that defines true French workwear.

Its original RATP-stamped metal buttons make it an exceptional find — these official transit-issue details were produced only briefly before the transition to plastic fastenings in the 1960s. Each button tells a story of Parisian life and labor, a tangible piece of the city’s daily rhythm and resilience.

Softened through time, this jacket wears like art — equally suited to everyday layering or display in a collector’s wardrobe.
